Der BDG vertritt die Interessen von rund 600 Eisen-, Stahl- und Nichteisen-Metallgießereien. In den Gießereien sind rund 80.000 Mitarbeiter beschäftigt.
Der BDG arbeitet eng mit dem technisch-wissenschaftlichen Verein Deutscher Gießereifachleute (VDG), der Wirtschaftsvereinigung Metalle (WVM) und der Forschungsvereinigung Gießereitechnik (FVG) zusammen.

Die LEAN Hochschulgruppe e.V. ist ein studentischer Verein am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie. Unser Ziel ist die Verknüpfung der universitären Ausbildung mit der LEAN Philosophie in Theorie und Praxis.
Dabei stehen die Generierung und das Synthetisieren von Wissen und Methoden aus dem Bereich des LEAN Thinking von Mitgliedern für Mitglieder im Vordergrund. Hierfür haben wir ein mehrsemestriges Ausbildungsprogramm entwickelt, mit dem die Mitglieder die verschiedenen Facetten, Herausforderungen und Potenziale des Themas kennen lernen und auch in Workshops und realen Projekten zur Anwendung bringen sollen. Nachdem die theoretische Grundlage des jeweiligen Gebiets gelegt ist, werden spezielle Exkursionen und Vorträge für die Mitglieder organisiert, um den Praxisbezug herzustellen.
Auf Industrieeinsätzen bei unseren Industriepartner setzen die Mitglieder der LEAN Hochschulgruppe ihr Wissen in die Tat um und eigenen sich fundierte Kenntnisse des LEAN Management für das spätere Berufsleben an.
Leaning Hochschulgruppe Dortmund e.V.
The Leaning Hochschulgruppe Dortmund e.V. is a student initiatives at the Technical University of Dortmund. The university group is a point of reference for Lean enthusiastic students from all disciplines and semesters stages. Founded in summer 2012 the group has set itself the goal of establishing the theme Lean Management in university compulsory courses at the Technical University of Dortmund. It built an own knowledge base to help the students get a deeper theoretical lean knowledge. Regular lectures and field trips provide an opportunity to experience Lean management in practice. Beyond the Leaning Academy offers students a training program.

Technical University Darmstadt
The Institute of Production Management, Technology and Machine Tools (PTW) at Darmstadt Technical University is a centre for teaching and research in the field of high-speed processing, construction and design of machine tools and components as well as process optimisation and product organisation.
Six research groups at the PTW - Machine tools and Components, Machining Technology, Micro-production, Centre for Industrial Productivity, Management of Industrial Production and Environmentally-compliant Production - are involved in research on the most up to date topics.

The German-Mexican Chamber of Commerce (Mexico)
Germany’s chamber of commerce in Mexico is officially known as the German-Mexican Chamber of Commerce (CAMEXA). Its objective is to promote economic and trade relations between Germany and Mexico. It defines itself as the representative of the entire German private industry.
CAMEXA has its headquarters in Mexico City. It was founded in 1929 and now has 750 corporate members. CAMEXA is the platform for exchanging information among governmental offices as well as among the members themselves. The chair of the board, a volunteer position, is elected for a two-year period and is responsible for taking into consideration the various interests of the chamber's work.

The "Wissensfabrik (Knowledge Factory) - Companies for Germany" is an initiative of enterprises and foundations that promote education and entrepreneurship in Germany. The "Wissensfabrik (Knowledge Factory) - Companies for Germany" sees itself as a nationwide network and has around 120 members from all industries and sizes. It offers a platform for knowledge in science, technology, economic education and entrepreneurship.
